In English this week we looked at World War I and World War II posters. These posters were made to persuade you to join a part of our national defense from the navy to nurses, but also to make you buy war bonds and ration on food. The poster that I chose to evaluate shows a woman standing in a U.S Navy uniformed, next to her it says "Gee I wish I were a man I’d join the navy, Be a man join the Navy." when I started contemplating this poster and how back then men were socially more important and so when a man would see this he would want to join the navy to keep his social integrity. Now the reason for this post was to show our poster and then take this poster do a few changes and make it anti-war. The changes that I would make would be this: I would put a no attractive woman on the cover in a tattered outfit with blood running down her cheek. I would than change the background color to black, showing death or sadness. Lastly I would change to "Gee I wish this war was over, so many lives lost, be a man don’t join the navy." With these changes it would show how the war wasn’t really everything we thought it was.

Jonny Got His Gun

We are about to read “Jonny Got His Gun” and did an anticipation guide and had to write about one of these questions.  I choose # 7 which says “Medical Professionals should take into account the quality of life a person they are attempting to save.”  To this question I disagreed because no matter the amount of money a person has or the highest standard they should be treated like anyone else in that hospital.  When my grandpa was in the hospital and in a coma like state, I would hope that the doctors and nurses treated him the same as they treated anyone else.  We are all human beings and we all are special in our own ways.  I understand that some people and more important and have more money but that is no reason to help someone less.  If two people are In the hospital for the same exact reason but one of them is high in the social classes, rich, and family orientated, and the other one is a family orientated middle class worker, would you treat the rich one better that the middle-class worker?  With in many of our subconscious we decide that if someone is famous and well known they get help faster and try harder than you would try on anyone else.  I would hope that when my grandpa was in the hospital they did not treat him differently because he was a veteran or he was a very family oriented man, I would hope that the hospital tries everything they could help him but they did the same thing with the person in the room next to us.  Everyone in this world is special and important we should not judge we should not overlook someone who needs help; we should help and show that everyone is special and we treat everyone with respect.

WOW this is the end of the three books and the semester. So with a saying this is my last book blog. So summary let get started! So as the story goes on all but # 5 meat up in New Mexico ready to take on Setrakus Ra. # 6 met up with Sarah in a jail cell. So as she talks to Sarah 6 finds that Sarah didn't mean to hurt 4. So they fight and almost die but they win the whole battleSetrakus Ra is gone just goes missing. Just like that POOF he is gone!

Ok so now we get to the quote. So as i ended this book i saw how it ended without # 5 ever appearing so there must be one more coming :) so i shall end this section with the last part of the book, the last sentences the last piece of happiness of the book." I look around for a second. It's a miracle we're all together, all still alive. Every living Loric on Earth but one standing within a few feet of one another. We're alive and we're fighting and that means we have a chance. And we will meet Setrakus Ra again, and soon. Next time, he will not get away from us."

I am very sad to see this whole book prompt thingy coming to a end so for one last time i will connect to the text. So as this book comes to an end we see how all along as they have been succeeding there is always room for something wrong to go wrong. So I must say that as they are fighting Setrakus Ra it reminded me of batman because he is trying to do what is right but people always choose sides and sometimes the sides and totally misleading.  I think of this because the government is working with the bad guys.

1. So after #4 and 9 had defeated the government they went to 9's safe house witch is in Chicago on top of the hand cock building... than fore said that he thought he was Pattacus (ultimate leader of Lorian.) 9 than got supper pissed and they had a fight 2 fights 4 lost both.  then they decided to go to new mexico to find the others. as 6,7,8, and 10 teleported to a different place carton died and the 2 of them got split up. 10 was in new mexico  and the other three kind of  traveled around and 10 got her first legacy telecommunications.

2."I looked out the window and gathered the strength to say what I've wanted to say ever since I read Henri's  letter: "Pittacus isn't dead. I’m Pittacus."  "What did you say?"  I turn and face him “I said, I am Pittacus Lore.”   Nine leans back laughing so hard he nearly flips over the couch. “You’re Pittacus? Why on earth would you think you’re Pittacus Lore?”"This is the part where 4 tells 9 that he thinks that he is Pittacus and 9 gets supper mad and thinks that 4 is just being funny but he really wasn't he thought he was Lore.


3. connecting to the text well here i go.   The story the 6, 7, 8, and 10 are living out is like 4 parent less children or young adults running around the world trying to find their friends along the way.  But there will always be bumps in the rode like when Clayton ( 10's father) died it was supper sad!  so then the story that 4 and 9 are living out is a running from the cops type where they are trying to stay hidden but it isn't that easy to do so they run and run and run.  so now they have to leave their safe hidden area to find the others and fast.

1. So in this 50 page short writers prompt i will tell you all that is going on in this segment.  So # 4 and # 9 are at a house they found and found a way to find the others. Sadly the government (they are working with the mogs) have tapped into it and have found them.  But they are supper strong and just kind of played the government to get answers and so they did.  Than # ,7, and 10 are on their way to find 8 but of course they win and keep on their journey and eventually find 8.

2.  Quote time :). "  Nine shouts, "Hey!  I wasn't kidding about being bored here.  I don't feel like playing nice anymore.  It's up to you, but you should know that you don't have long before i decide to amuse myself.  You can tell us everything you know right now, or I'll kick my way out of here and make you tell me.  Guess which one will make my day a little more fun?"" so his quote really shows how 4 and 9 really worked the system.  So 9 really was having fun pulling the system and incorporating a bit of fear. Is that not his specialty.

3.   So as always it is a hard book to connect ahh but I will try my best to make it as creative as possibly so let’s get started.  So # 9 and 4's journey is kind of like a good cop bad cop scenario where 9 is bad and 4 is good but than 4 sees that he is missing out on all the fun and tries to be bad but who are we kidding he is horrible at being mean. Than with 6, 7, and 10 they are chasing 8 and trying to find him.  But the one thing is that they have not found 5 yet so hopeful they will find him or her soon.

1.  So as I left off I am now on the third book witch is the only one left that is published   I kind of have read the whole thing already so i am going to split it into 50 page bloggers. So # 6, 7, and 10 along with Crayton are on a plane to try to find the others.  # 4 and 9 have left the mog cave and left Sam in it.  4 ran into the blue force field and now is very sick. So 4 and 9 were sitting and found as way to find the others when their boxes are open. 

2. “6A. Seriously?  I look at the boarding pass in my hand, it’s large type announcing my seat assignment, and wonder if Crayton chose this seat on purpose.  It could be a coincidence, but the way things have gone recently, I am not a big believer in coincidences.  I wouldn't be surprised if Marina (# 7) sat down behind me in row seven, and Ella made her way back to row 10. ”   I chose this quote because it shows how 7 (the one who thought\ wrote this) has found #7 and a garde that shouldn't even exist # 10. So over all it shows how the garde are coming together and making one impossible to bet group.

3. So this book just like the others is hard to connect but I have to so just kidding there are many ways I can connect it.  This part is a very mysterious part when 6, 7 and 10 went to find others they were kidnapped by 8 but that connects with a kidnapping witch we hear so much about.  Than when they are attacked it reminds me of Le Miz.  This whole part makes me think of Le Miz. Mostly because they are fighting and standing up against the government, and the mogs.  So over all this mostly reminds me of le miz.
